Attend the NNO Kickoff event at the Cesar Chavez Community Center, 2221 Douglas Avenue, at 4:00 p.m. Dignitaries and agency representatives will say a few words to officially jump-start NNO in the Racine community. There will be a large display of law enforcement and emergency response vehicles. Don’t forget the birthday cake!
- Plan a block party in your neighborhood. RNW has plenty of ideas for you and your neighbors. Register your event with RNW to be placed on visit request lists for police, sheriff deputies, emergency responders, and McGruff the Crime dog. Plus, receive an event goodie bag (while supplies last).
- Volunteer!! Various Community Centers, COP Houses, and local churches hold larger events, and event planners welcome the extra help.
