Job Description:
We are looking for an individual with some business, marketing or artistic skills who has a high interest in community building and environmental stewardship. The individual will be expected to assist the Racine Urban Garden Network’s PR & Marketing Committee in their outreach efforts to local community agencies and individuals by designing promotional flyers and brochures, updating the website, composing the newsletter and blogs, generating informative handouts for gardeners and public, as well as doing some outreach at various RUGN events.
Qualifications:
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Publisher, PowerPoint, and Adobe
- Detail oriented
- Strong time management skills
- Practiced oral and written communication skills
- Capable of coordinating efforts within RUGN and with the Racine community
*An interest in urban gardens, environmental issues is desired
