We are looking for volunteers to do a large variety of activities to facilitate the running of the Starving Artist Fair. You can work as many or as few shifts as you would like. The following list is not inclusive and is subject to change, but it will give you an idea of the kinds of things we are needing help with. Please contact the volunteer coordinator for more information and to sign up for specific shifts so we can keep track of what areas we still need help with.
These are the areas in which we need volunteers:
Setup (setting up tents, tables, chairs, signs) 5:30 AM - 9:30 AM
Parking (controlling access to handicap parking) 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM in 2 hour shifts
Art Runners (collecting art donations from booths for the Silent Auction) 7:00 AM - 10:00 AM
Garbage Collection (putting fresh bags in cans) 11:00 AM - 1:30 PM and 1:30 PM - 4:00 PM
Waterbottle Distribution (delivering water to artist booths) 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM
Tear Down (picking up everything, packing it away, and loading on trucks) 3:30 PM - 6:00 PM
