Peace Learning Circles (PLC) is looking for volunteers to be on the Fund Development Committee. PLC's main source of funding has been primarily through grants, donations and fee for service. However, as funding within our schools continues to decline, there are ongoing challenges to fund the Peacemaker Workshops and school programs. The Fund Development Committee will address financial support through the development of a new fund development plan. The Fund Development Plan will include fee for services/programs; donations; fundraisers and grants. The Fund Development Committee will determine the meeting times as needed. Training is not required, however, experience in this area is helpful. We are looking for team players, that are responsible and responsive. In addition, enthusiasm, energy, creativity, and the desire to contribute talents, time, and expertise to further our mission is essential to the success of the committee.
