Aurora Burlington is in search of No One Dies Alone (NODA) volunteers willing to extend care to patients by providing a reassuring presence at the bedside of a dying or critically ill patient who would otherwise be alone.
Duties: Under the supervision of the Nursing Staff, volunteers will act as a compassionate companion by sitting with the patient, perhaps holding their hand, reading to them, and assisting in comfort measures as directed by the nurse.
NODA volunteers should be 18 years or older.
