Time to paddle below the Dam! Enjoy a leisurely paddle on the Root River in Racine, Wisconsin. High water conditions on lake Michigan allow for this wonderful exploration along the Root River, numerous bridges, scenic parkland and unique city setting that brings us around Island Park... Approximately 4.4 miles.
Starting at 5th Street Yacht Club 761 Marquette St, Racine, WI we will paddle around from the 5th Street Yacht Club, around Island Park and back. The course is approximately 4.4 miles and takes about an 1.5 hour to complete. Enjoy beverages and camaraderie before the start and upon completion. Easy access in and out, excellent parking and a full bar awaits you! Join us on the patio for live music while sitting around the fire pit, complimentary beer, brats and a corn roast!
