The Youth Volunteer Corps (YVC) tries to do a large-scale service project each summer. This year, we will be partnering with Sleep in Heavenly Peace to do a bed build. Our goal is to build 100 beds for children in Racine County.
The last two summers, we have executed Rock the Block. We clean up a city block ( Mead Street) in need of beautification.
We are limited to 60 youth volunteers age 11 to 18 sign up early; earn volunteer credits you will need for graduation.
- We need adult volunteers to lead and supervise students assemble beds
- It is important that you sign up officially to be counted in the numbers.
