What We Do
Racine will grow healthier with each new generation. The future generations of Racine's children will enhance the ethical, social, and economic status of the city by their contributions to society. To accomplish this, the children and families of Racine will have access to the resources they need for maximum cognitive, emotional, social and physical development. NGN was developed through the leadership efforts of Helen Johnson-Leipold and the Racine Association of Funding Organizations (AFO) beginning in 1995. The AFO began to develop a long term, collaboratively structured prevention program that targeted low income families with young children from birth to age six. NGN was established in 1997 as a child development and family support agency.
