What We Do
Health Care Network, Inc provides free/low cost healthcare to residents of Racine County who have no health insurance and are of limited income. This is made possible through the volunteer efforts of over 350 volunteer medical and dental professionals including the area hospitals. The agency was incorporated in 1987. The first year, just over 464 health care appointments were provided. Today we are providing approximately 9,000 appointments per year. The efforts of our volunteers have been recognized nationally as a Point of Light under the presidency of George H.W. Bush, and the American Dental Association. Local awards include recognition by Sustainable Racine and the Brave Heart award from the American Red Cross of Southeast Wisconsin. A complete history is available on our website.
