Who We Are

Junior Achievement of Wisconsin aims to inspire and prepare young people to succeed in a global economy. Junior Achievement was founded in 1919 by Theodore Vail, Horace A. Moses, and Winthrop M. Crane. The organization’s first program, JA Company Program®, was offered to high school students on an after-school basis. Today, Junior Achievement is the nation’s largest organization dedicated to giving young people the knowledge and skills they need to own their economic success!

What We Do

Junior Achievement inspires and prepares young people to succeed in a global economy through programs that teach work readiness, entrepreneurship, and financial literacy. Junior Achievement is a partnership between the community -- educators and community volunteers -- all working together to inspire young people to dream big and reach their potential.
