Wisconsin Sea Grant

Wisconsin Sea Grant is a statewide organization dedicated to the basic and applied research, education, outreach and technology transfer dedicated to the stewardship and sustainable use of the nation’s Great Lakes and ocean resources. In Southeast Wisconsin, Sea Grant focuses on aquatic invasive species prevention and monitoring.

Wisconsin Sea Grant trains and equips volunteers to monitor lakes, streams and wetlands for aquatic invasive species. This information is then used by land managers to protect our water resources.
