Aurora Medical Center – Mount Pleasant WI

The role of Aurora Health Care volunteers is essential now more than ever. Aurora Health Care has volunteer opportunities available for two key roles Main Entrance Ambassador and a Tour Guide. The duties of the Main Entrance Ambassador include; proactively greeting patients and visitors as they enter the facility, asking how they can assist patients/visitors and offer to escort the guest to where they need to go, offering wheelchair assistance, and properly operating the wheelchair and push the guest to the destination, etc. The duties of the Tour Guide include; greeting people in the tour group and making them feel comfortable. Explain to them that they can ask questions at any time, walk the campus while informing guests on what they are observing/where different departments are located, where information signs are located, and answer questions when appropriate, hand out information material such as a written tour guide, campus map, etc.
With your help, we can transform a hospital stay into an unexpected journey of hope and healing. For more information on volunteer opportunities at Aurora Health Care, contact Volunteer Services, Jasmyne Benavides, 262-799-8382, email jasmyne.benavides@aah.org. or go to www.Aurora.org/volunteer.
