Shepherds College Mission Statement : Shepherds College exists to educate and train students with intellectual and developmental disabilities by equipping them to reach Appropriate Independence™ through the development of vocational, social, and life skills while inspiring a lasting awareness of God’s plan for their lives. Vision Statement : Shepherds College will be the country’s leading three-year post-secondary educational program for individuals with intellectual disabilities and stand out in the market for its high-quality, personalized program that prepares its students for Appropriate Independence™.
What We Do
Shepherds College is a three-year, post-secondary school for young adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The college offers an accredited, residential program designed to promote Appropriate Independence in each student. The program includes classes in daily living skills, spiritual growth, social/emotional skills, functional academics and the choice of one of three specialty majors: Horticulture, Technology or Culinary Arts.
