Caregiver Support Group Volunteer Facilitator

Are you a good listener, empathic, with strong communication skills? The Aging and Disability Resource Center (ADRC) is looking for people interested in becoming a Volunteer Caregiver Support Group Facilitator. Volunteer Facilitators will co-lead the group with a Caregiver Support Specialist from the ADRC. Together, facilitators create a safe environment that allow caregivers to share their thoughts, feelings, challenges and ask questions regarding caregiving. The leaders strive to provide emotional support to group members and connect them with additional resources as needed. Volunteers can choose from several monthly groups both virtual and in person.
