Heartland Hospice is looking for bilingual individuals in Racine and Kenosha counties to join our growing team of volunteers!
Companion Volunteers enrich the lives of hospice patients in their area through regular visits by providing an additional level of care that focuses on socialization and friendship! How your visits look is entirely up to you! Service hours are flexible and scheduled according to your availability and location. A visit may look like playing card games, watching a movie, enjoying a leisurely stroll, or even just engaging in lively conversation! YOU have the power to bring the greatest gift to our patient’s lives—a smile and reassurance that comes with knowing they are genuinely cared for.

Companion Volunteer requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must be at least bilingual
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must be able to work independently
- Agree to background and reference check
- TB testing, drug testing
- Must complete all on-boarding training and requirements
