Operation Restore Hope in Racine is a project where the Journey DRT, in collaboration with Gateway Global Ministries, is coming together to restore a property in south Racine.
Phase one was completed in April, where the beginning stages of restoration to a park-like atmosphere were successful.
The next phase is opening the property back up to host a monthly market and resource fair for the community.
We are looking for volunteers to help make the kickoff event a success! We need help setting up the event, the market needs to be set up and maintained, and we are still looking for volunteers to help with face painting and balloon animals.
All necessary supplies will be provided. Lunch is also provided.
