Youth Financial Literacy Workshop

Join us for a Free Youth Financial Literacy Workshop with our partners Educators Credit Union, Community State Bank, and Marine Credit Union!
Students will participate in Reality Check, which is an interactive simulation of what life is like once students leave the classroom and are free to experience the real world. Students will go through life’s most important stages and experience financial gains or losses using the Bite of Reality mobile app.
During the session, students are given the option of selecting their occupation, while other areas of their life are randomly assigned, such as credit score, marital status, and if they must pay child support. Each student also decides their retirement age and are tasked with using their budgeting skills to reach their retirement goal.
