The Root River Council commissioned this dynamic template for economic redevelopment of our urban riverfront. 

• Created with extensive public outreach to all quarters of our community, the plan has been embraced by governmental. business, educational, and civic organizations as an important first step.

In Racine we provide, promote and maintain connections, paths for hiking and biking, canoe launches, and river events.  These are all part of our efforts to improve recreation opportunities and livability in our community.
