...The mission of National Church Residences is to provide quality housing and care at affordable prices in communities of caring persons. Our ministry is national in scope and originates from a Christian commitment of service to older adults, which began in 1961. Bristol Village in Waverly, Ohio, was NCR's first housing community. Over the years, Bristol Village has grown to meet a full range of lifestyle needs, including independent living in more than 400 individual homes, supportive services in an 82-unit apartment complex, a 25-unit assisted living facility, and skilled nursing care in a 50-unit convalescent center. In 2001, Bristol Gardens, a 12-unit Alzheimer's care retreat, was added to the campus. Today, NCR's ministry provides affordable housing, health care, assisted living, and supportive services to modest-income seniors and families throughout the United States and Puerto Rico. Governed by a 24-member Board of Trustees comprised of a broad mix of people with professional, business, and human services backgrounds, NCR's ministry includes thousands of residents and employees nationwide.
