What We Do
Our programming, called the “Girl Scout Leadership Experience (GSLE),” is designed with, by, and for girls in a safe and inclusive environment. Our critical and important difference is that we focus solely on leadership development for girls, drawing from research that indicates girls learn best in an all-girl, girl-led, and girl-friendly environment. All Girl Scout activities are based on proven strategies that help today’s girls discover who they are, connect with others, and take action locally and globally to make the world a better place. Today, Girl Scouts of Wisconsin Southeast (GSWISE) is 17,500+ strong, serving 11,689 girls of every background in grades K5-12 and 5,850 adults through programs in Kenosha, Milwaukee, Ozaukee, Racine, Walworth, Washington and Waukesha counties.
