Who We Are
Volunteer visits are very important and become a part of the patient’s Plan of Care.
These services may include visiting patients providing non-medical compassionate care and companionship, providing bereavement support to families through visits, phone calls, etc., and performing administrative, clerical support to the work of Hospice Compassus.
Background Check and TB Screen will be required.
Las visitas de voluntarios son muy importantes y convertirse en parte del plan de cuidado del paciente.
Estos servicios pueden incluir visitar a pacientes, proporcionar atención y compañerismo compasivo no médica, proporcionar soporte de duelo a las familias a través de visitas, llamadas etc., y realizer apoyo administrative al trabajo de Hospice Compassus.
Se requerirán la verificación de antecedents y prueba cutánea de TB.
What We Do
Our mission at Hospice Compassus is to honor life and offer hope to individuals facing a life-limiting illness by supporting them with compassion, integrity and excellence. We have two ways for you to become involved as a volunteer, direct patient contact and administrative. Volunteers are utilized to provide patient/family support services according to their experience and training.
Nuestra misión en Hospice Compassus es honrar la vida y ofrecer la esperanza a los individuos que están aguantando una enferedad que limita la vida por apoyarles con compasión, integridad y excelencia. Tenemos dos maneras involucrarse como voluntario, contacto directo con pacientes y trabajo administrativo. Los voluntarios son utilizados a proporcionar servicios de apoyo al pacientes y sus familias según su experiencia y capacitación.
