Answer 24 hour crisis line via mobile phone for victims of sexual assault, as well as respond to the hospital when a victim presents for a forensic exam. Provide crisis intervention, emotional support and referrals. Must be a good listener, empathetic, nonjudgmental and supportive. Volunteer Advocates must also be able to respond to the hospital within approximately 30-45 minutes while on call.
