Warehouse Assistant/Repair, Restoration and Recycling

Tuesday 10-4pm. Thursday 10-4pm, Saturday 9-1pm

 Part of a two man crew on the ReStore truck.  Pick up donation as scheduled.  Work with Donation Coordinator to schedule pick-ups and routes. Work with Director to determine appropriate items for pick up.  Unload items from truck to storage hold areas.  Ability to lift and move large furniture appliances.   Ability to follow directions.  Promote and maintain a safe work environment

Valid driver's license

Ability work 3 hour shift. 

Ability to stand and walk for a 3 hour shift.  Ability to lift 25-50 lbs.

Shifts are Tues, Thurs  9:45 am to 1 pm & Saturday 12:45 pm to 4 pm

Suggest commitment to one shift per week.

Help restore,repair,clean and prep various donated items for display as needed.  Prep or disasseble unusable donated items for proper recyling.  Ability to follow directions and work independently or as a team.

Assist  customers with merchandise questions and locations.  Help maintain proper inventory levels and displays on the sales floor.  Assist customer and donors with merchandise.  Assist with loss prevention.  Ability to follow directions and work independently or as a team.

Determine pricing of donated items, and stock merchandise items onto the warehouse floor.  Knowledge in any of the following areas is helpful: tools, hardware, appliances lighting, hvac,lumber, plumbing and electrical supplies.  Maintain proper inventory levels and displays on the sales floor.  Assist customers and donors with merchandise.  Ability to follow directions and work independently or as a team.

Operate cash register and credit card machine, maintain proper check out procedures.  Greet and interact with customer in a friendly and helpful manner with good customer service and communication skills.  answer phone calls and take messages.  Assist pricing, stocking and displays as needed.  Good organizational skill.  Ability to follow directions and work as a team or independently as needed.

Shifts are Tues & Thurs from 9:45 am to 1 pm and 12:45 pm -4 pm.  Saturday am shift starts at 8:45.
