Opportunities From: Volunteer Center of Racine County, Inc.

This is a Board member opportunity. The Root River Council is in need of an experience treasurer.  We meet the second Wednesday of each month at the Racine Public Library, from 6:30pm to 8:30.

We are a nonprofit concerned with expanding environmental opportunities with the Root River.  If you would like to volunteer as our Treasure, please respond to this opportunity. 

 Hours are flexible

The Root River Council is looking for a volunteer who can act as our Marketing Specialist.  You would be working with Board members to write up the events for publication and get news out on our activities.   You would bring ideas to the Board.

You would work independently, and hours are flexible. Marketing college students, great way to expand your education and share your skills

Do you like Facebook and twitter and other social platforms.  Do you know how to added events and share news with the public.  If yes, we are looking for volunteers who have experience with working with various Social Media Platforms.

We also have a web site that could use some maintenance to keep the community informed. 

The hours are flexible, based on your availability on a weekly/monthly basis.  You would be working with Board members.  

Root River Council is looking to expand current activities.  We are seeking to add New Board Members to generate new ideas.  If you are familiar with the Root River and the many environmental aspects, join our Board.
