Volunteer: Garlic Mustard Pull in Colonial ParkEarth Day in Racine April 22, 9:00 to noon. We will teach you how to recognize garlic mustard, and provide tools so you can pull it easily. Plants will be bagged, and the bags will be left on the trails where the city will pick them up for disposal. We hope to pull enough to fill 30 bags...so we need you! Volunteers may be any age; youngsters should come with adult. Volunteers should be able to walk on uneven ground in the park, and be able to bend over and pull plants from ground. Dress for the weather in layers, with long pants and sturdy shoes with socks. Bring your own drinking water. This activity occers every 4th Saturday of every Month biginng Aprile through October.
